Sidebar toolbar
Registers as a Windows AppBar, so the work area really does narrow — a maximized window stops beside it instead of covering it.
A toolbar that lives on the edge of the Windows desktop: pin sites, local commands, remote commands and extensions as icons, with quick file search, notes, clipboard history and mouse-driven tools built in.
Registers as a Windows AppBar, so the work area really does narrow — a maximized window stops beside it instead of covering it.
Web, local, remote, extension and indicator — each one answers for itself: which address to open, what icon to draw, what state it is in.
Searches Start-menu programs and hidden icons, grouped by initial; pick one and it opens.
Taps Everything's whole-disk filename index, with a preview pane on the right; Enter opens the file in its default program, or reveals it in its folder.
Records the text, images and file paths you copy; keep one as a favourite, or float it as a sticky note.
One note is one Markdown file on disk, in a folder you choose; pick a notebook on the left, edit the text on the right.
With the pointer in the top five pixels of the screen, the wheel adjusts brightness (left half) or volume (right half), and that one scroll does not reach the window below.
Programs that are listed by hand, start from npx and bring their own web server — added to the toolbar in one click.
Enter the same sync key on several machines and your icons and layout stay in step; restore them from the server in one click, too.
Installs the built-in Skill into Claude Code and other agents, so one can look at your icons, manage processes, change settings and undo your last step.
Grouped by initial; the icons you have hidden are found again here too.

The Windows installer — run it and it installs. It goes in your own user folder (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\DuiqiDock), with no UAC prompt.
Windows 10 / 11 · Current version 0.3.14 · 2026-10-27 15:26:58 UTC
Into your own user folder, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\DuiqiDock. The installer runs as an ordinary user and never raises UAC.
No. The installer only creates a Start-menu shortcut and an uninstall entry; it writes no startup entries at all.
There is a DuiqiDock entry under Settings → Apps, or run %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\DuiqiDock\uninstall.exe directly. (The “Quit DuiqiDock” in Settings only exits the program.)
Windows 10 / 11, with the system WebView2 runtime (built into Windows 11; present on Windows 10 if you have a recent Edge).
Because it registers as a Windows AppBar (SHAppBarMessage): the system's work area genuinely narrows, and a maximized window lays itself out against the new one, so it stops beside the dock.
The layout lives on this machine. Enter the same sync key on several machines and icons and layout stay in step; there is also a one-click restore from the server.
Of the five kinds of icon, only an indicator runs a JS script; web, local and remote use nothing but the curl.exe and ssh.exe Windows already has.
On this machine, at most 500 entries — the oldest are dropped past that. Images are capped separately: 50 of them, no more than 16 MB each.
- Site windows accept files dragged in from Explorer: dropping onto an upload box reaches the page as an ordinary HTML5 drop, so web upload forms work - Clicking the icon of an open window now minimizes it to the taskbar; clicking again restores it. A window behind other apps, or already minimized, is brought to the front instead of being minimized
Settings: launch DuiqiDock automatically when you sign in to Windows Search: when nothing matches, search the web right from the panel, and save a selection as a note Search: every engine is configurable now - add, edit or remove the name and the URL template with {q} under Settings, Search. The defaults are Google, Baidu and GitHub Media library: map several local folders as virtual directories and browse their photos and videos in the panel or on the password-protected LAN page Media library: the grid uses cached shell thumbnails now, so folders with thousands of tiles scroll without eating memory; a new "minimize on blur" button brings the panel back with its grid, scroll position and playing video intact Icons: new "monochrome icons when not open" option; open ones keep their colour (Settings, Appearance) Selection actions: the card stack no longer flashes away, keeps clear of the selection, and stays put while the pointer rests on it
Dock: hold Ctrl+Alt and click an icon to hide it from the strip (the Hide Icon menu row now names the shortcut) Mobile: adjust the PC volume and mute from the Now Playing pane Mobile: one row per phone (deduplicated by install id); the footer shows a phone outline with a separate count Selection actions: selecting text pops up an action card beside the dock - hold Alt to move up and down, release to run; license plates match case-insensitively
- Search: a URL, an npx command or a path to a program/script now finds the dock icon that opens it; when there is none, "Create icon" opens the editor pre-filled - Search: executables and scripts are matched by the file they actually run, so python -u "D:\x.py" and D:\x.py are the same icon - Search: creating an icon fills in the address, entry command, launch command and working directory (with the right interpreter for scripts) - Search: file names like run.ps1 are no longer mistaken for addresses - Phone: while the phone channel is on, the dock reports its LAN address to the server every 5 minutes (immediately when it changes), uploading the token only as its sha256 - Phone: after a direct connection fails, the phone asks the server once for the current address and reconnects; if the lookup fails it silently keeps the saved address - Phone: the pairing QR code now includes the server, which the phone stores so it can move its saved host when the address changes - Market: the DeepSeek Harness entry command now carries @latest explicitly - Theme: version notice and badge use light text in dark mode; popup menus follow the theme
